Anti-Wrinkle Injections

What are anti wrinkle injections ?

Botulinum toxin A ( widely known as botox(r)) has been used for many years to temporarily relax the facial muscles in order to dramatically smooth out lines and wrinkles in the skin. The effects usually last 3 -6 months after treatment.  With repeat treatments these effects can last longer over time. This treatment has becoming increasingly popular in the prevention of wrinkles and lines before they even occur.

Dermal filler

What are dermal fillers ?

Injectable hyaluronic acid (HA) is a type of temporary dermal filler. Hyaluronic acid is found naturally through out the body, with the highest concentrations in the joints, eyes, and skin. In the skin hyaluronic acid attracts water, which allows the skin to become more hydrated.

As we age, the fat, muscles, bone, and skin in our face begins to thin. This loss of volume leads to either a sunken or sagging appearance of the face, fine lines, wrinkles, folds, and thin lips.

Injectable HA is used to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, facial folds, and to create structure, framework, and volume to the face and lips.

The effects of injectable hyaluronic acid are seen immediately with the best/ final results seen at 2 weeks.

LIP filler

What are lip fillers?

Lip fillers are a type of dermal filler designed especially for use on lips. The highly sophisticated lip enhancer gel is made from Hyaluronic Acid – a substance found naturally in the human body.

This key ingredient is used in a wide range of skincare products as well as in dermal fillers. It is incredibly safe and delivers moisture to your lips, keeping them hydrated and radiant at all times.

The lip injections are applied beneath the skin where the gel slowly volumises the lips; plumping them out to remove any lines or unevenness to create perfectly smooth, attractive, plump lips. Hyaluronic acid is completely natural to our bodies, the lip fillers will safely break down on their own over time.
